So here I am , making a real blog instead of posting random things on Facebook (in between the Farmville game requests,that is).
I have officially designated this as the summer of spray paint!
I started with this:
An old shutter from someplace upstairs in our old house. The husbeast was about to throw it away. I painted it, cut out a bird from an old piece of wood, and glue-gunned some leftover wreath stuff to it. Not bad for a first attempt !
The next project was a 4th of July "windsock" made out of a coffee can and some ribbon. I wish I could remember where online I saw this idea originally. If anyone knows the blog, let me know!
This photo is a bit dark, but you can see I ended up staining the can and the ribbon to "age" it . The original was VERY bright. Next up is a chair. Stay tuned!
